Message in a Bottle with Inztinkz

"All that I have overcome to bring my life this far...
I hope you feel the pain that I've arranged in each bar"

Proud to be a part of a classic masterpiece that is Hip Hop Jamaica! Inztinkz The Beatscientist pilots the sound of 'Absence of Malice' like a time machine to when Hip Hop sounded best. (Grimey 90's). Emerging rarely from his underground zenith as a beat genius, one of my favourite suppliers leaves a morsel of 'True School Jamaican Hip Hop' online for the heads. Not to go it alone where no Yard Emcee has gone before, Inztinkz acknowledges the first law of Hip Hop Jamaica/The movement: All in together. All certified MC's available during the project are present  for 'Absence of Malice' including Kabaka Pyramid, Beast, T.S.D. and fallen angel Rap Brown.  Just like DJ Premier would authenticate a New York Emcee, your not worth your words in gold till you got an 'official' beat from Inztinkz the Beatscientist...

Roslyn Williams - Crisis

"Gosh,I think I lose who I think I am when I'm on stage and that's when the real...free me comes out".

.

I WANT TO GET FREE...
The light gets so bright that the crowd disappears,
The music so intense that its all I can hear
Till I can hear no more just feel,
Till I can think no more just channel,
I see the body of restriction I have left for the stream of limitlessness...
have tapped in...

"Verse - The Art of Rhyming" Poetry Society fellowship 26/7/11

On Tuesday July 26, 2011, the Poetry Society of Jamaica partnered with Manifesto Jamaica to present "Verse - The Art of Rhyming" featuring SHAQ The MC, Kabaka Pyramid and Five Steez. I-Nation was on location sharing knowledge, Ibo Provided vege-sip, Clean Fuel Technology had refreshments and ManifestoJA had a book drive throughout the night.

The evening highlighted the connection between poetry and hip hop and excerpts of the Featured Work, Saul Williams' "Dead Emcee Scrolls - The Lost Teachings of Hip Hop" were shared. It was a night filled with lyricism and thought-provoking content, and a thick, very responsive audience.

"Energy, rich lyricism, boldness, presence...all present in the works of Five Steez,SHAQ The MC & Kabaka Pyramid. The poetry is alive and active".

Live as if you'll die today."
